Strategic analysis is the first step in our process, placed before the development of corporate strategy in Step Three and the development of business strategies in Step Four. There is no denying, however, that it is rather difficult to carry out strategic analysis independently of the development of the strategies. So before dealing with the content and methodology of strategic analysis, let us first see why strategic analysis is the first separate step in our process.
