Die Lebensqualität einer Patientin kann verbessert werden, wenn eine Brustrekonstruktion im Falle einer Mastektomie angeboten wird. Dafür stehen entweder eine Sofortrekonstruktion in der gleichen Sitzung wie die Mastektomie oder eine zweizeitige Rekonstruktion zu einem beliebigen, späteren Zeitpunkt zur Verfügung.
