Abstract
The extraperitoneal approach for conventional lapa-roscopic prostatectomy was proposed by Raboy 1997 [1] and popularized by Bollens [2], Hoznek and Abbou [3], Dubernard [4] and Stolzenburg [5]. The feasability of an extraperitoneal access for robotic surgery was reported in 2003 by Gettman and Abbou [6].
