Abstract

VATS lobectomy or other minimal invasive approaches to the chest cavity are on the rise in recent years. This chapter covers all major minimal invasive surgical procedures for malignant lesions in the chest. We give a detailed explanation how to workup and perform an anatomical lobectomy, non-anatomical resections, lymphadenectomy, pericardial window, pleurodesis, and how to approach thymic lesions
