Abstract

Most papers in the field considered are devoted to exact or approximate treatments of the load transfer from a stringer to infinite or semi-infinite plate. There are good reviews in, for example, [69,104,130,147,148,192]. The application of the asymptotic method based on the expansions using a dimensionless small parameter (relative shear rigidity) allow us to solve approximately a number of problems for an orthotropic strip reinforced using regular systems of stringers which are loaded by the same concentrated forces [147,148].
