Abstract
An optical system for measuring in situ the geometrical and optical pronerties of the anterior segment of the eye is described. The measurements provide in one case the evaluation of the product of the thickness “t” by the index of refraction “n”, and in the second case that of the ratio between these parameters. From each two corresponding equations, it was possible to obtain “ti” and “ni” for every layer.
