Optical Waveguide Properties of Multiquantum Wells

Abstract

We have studied the optical wavequide properties of a GaAs-AlGaAs multi-quantum well wavequide and determined the linear electro-optic coefficient, r41 = -1.47 × 10-10 cm/V at λ = 1.1523 μm.
