Abstract
After the efforts of Fényes and Bohm to explain the quantum uncertainty classically, two great mathematicians, Wiener, and Nelson, took up the challenge. Wiener collaborated with Amand Siegel in three papers, [168, 169, 148], written before Bell’s theorem. Nelson published his attempt in two books [122, 123].
