Zusammenfassung

Die histologische Untersuchung stellt eine Standard- und Basisuntersuchung dar, um die Vitalität des Knochenlagers, die ossäre Integration von Implantaten und die Abriebbelastung des umgebenden Gewebes zu erfassen und qualitativ zu beurteilen. Die Bewertung des periimplantären Gewebes im Tiermodell und bei humanen Explantaten ist unverzichtbarer Bestandteil in der Entwicklung und Qualitätssicherung medizinischer Implantate.
