Abstract

The most carefully considered plans for a series of experiments are rarely followed. Early results often alter the investigator’s perception of the problem and require revisions of plans. Our investigations of orientation discrimination are no exception.

This is a report of research supported in part by Contract N000 14-67-A-0389 between the University of Rochester and the Office of Naval Research and in part by a National Eye Institute grant, EY 000680, J. L. Brown, Principal Investigator.
