Auszug

Schwere psychische Erkrankungen wie affektive oder schizophrene Störungen erfassen alle Lebensbereiche der erkrankten Person und gehen mit vielfältigen psychischen und biologischen Veränderungen einher. Es ist nicht verwunderlich, dass Parameter wie das EEG und die ereigniskorrelierten Potenziale (EKP), die in sensibler Weise funktionelle Aspekte des Zentralnervensystems (ZNS) abbilden, in vielfacher Hinsicht bei diesen Patienten im Vergleich zu gesunden Kontrollen modifiziert sind.
