Zusammenfassung
Ekzeme gehören zu den häufigsten Dermatosen und umfassen zum Beispiel das Hand- und Fußekzem, das psoriasiforme Ekzem oder das atopische Ekzem. Sie können jedes Lebensalter betreffen. Meist handelt es sich um hochchronische oder chronisch-rezidivierende Hauterkrankungen, durch Juckreiz und Stigmatisierung ist die Lebensqualität der Betroffenen erheblich beeinträchtigt. Die Differenzialdiagnose ist oft schwierig, zumal Ekzeme in verschiedenen Stadien klinisch unterschiedlich imponieren können. Die Therapie ist eine Herausforderung, da sich zusätzlich Allergien und eine Bakterienbesiedelung aufpropfen können. Darüber hinaus sind Handekzeme die am häufigsten angezeigte Berufskrankheit (20%). Bei chronischen, rezidivierenden Verläufen wird eine lang andauernde Behandlung und Rehabilitation erforderlich, die zu entsprechenden betriebs- und volkswirtschaftlichen Ausfallzeiten führen kann.
