Zusammenfassung

Die wohl älteste Darstellung einer ungewöhnlichen Rosazea-Manifestation findet sich auf einem Gemälde der frühen Renaissance, welches in Paris im Louvre zu besichtigen ist (Abb. 1). Der Künstler Domenico Ghirlandaio zeigt in seinem Werk Der Greis und das Kind eine ungewöhnlich realistische Darstellung eines Rhinophyms was schon zu ausführlichen Diskussionen in der dermatologischen Literatur führte [6].
