Soils of the World

Zusammenfassung

The subtropics with year-round rain, also called ‘warm-temperate zone with year-round rain’, are dispersed over five continents, similar to the subtropics with winter rain. They are situated on the eastern sides of the continents, between ca. 20° and 38° latitude. Towards the poles, the subtropics with year-round rain adjoin the humid mid-latitudes, and inland (westward, towards the inner continents) they border partly on the dry mid-latitudes and partly on the dry tropics and subtropics.
