Die Zahl der Lehrbücher, die das Wort evidenzbasiert im Titel führen, ist inzwischen unüberschaubar. Dabei sind die Vorstellungen, was sich hinter diesem Schlagwort verbirgt, offensichtlich recht unterschiedlich. Evidenzbasierte Kenntnisse sind für das fachliche Handeln obligat. Nicht immer sind die Grundlagen leicht nachvollziehbar. Deshalb enthält dieses Kapitel Hinweise, wo entsprechende Ressourcen zu finden sind. Auβerdem wird eine kleine Anleitung mit Grundkenntnissen der evidenzbasierten Medizin (EbM) angefügt.
