Abstract
The paper from Grigori Feiguine and Tatjana Sedash addresses the linkages between financial globalization, financial liberalization and transformation in Russia. The authors emphasize the international welfare effects of financial globalization and the risks of a weak domestic banking sector in Russia. They present a pessimistic view of Russia’s economic future and consider its economy to be unstable.
