The Strategy Hypercube: Exploring Strategy Space Using Agent-Based Models

We demonstrate a method of representing a firm’s strategy as its position and movement within an n-dimensional strategy space. We explore this space through the use of an agent-based model and provide preliminary results as to the appropriateness of different strategies under differing levels of environmental turbulence.
