Abstract
Intercultural learning has played a key role in non-formal education processes with young people, especially those associated with the youth programmes and activities of the Council of Europe and of the European Commission.
This article is a revised, updated and fully edited version of a piece by the same authors that appeared under the title ‘Against the Waste of Experiences in Intercultural Learning’ previously published in the Report of the Directorate of Youth and Sport (Council of Europe) “Intercultural Learning in European Youth Work: Which Ways Forward?” (Ingrid Ramberg, Editor) that took place at the European Youth Centre Budapest in November 2007.
