Zusammenfassung
Ethische Fragestellungen wurden bisher an den wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Fakultäten deutscher Universitäten und Fachhochschulen eher stiefmütterlich behandelt. Insbesondere gilt dies für die Betriebswirtschaftslehre. Während die führenden Business Schools in den USA bereits seit drei bis vier Jahrzehnten ethische Themen in ihr Lehr- und Forschungsprogramm aufgenommen haben, erfolgte dies im deutschsprachigen Raum nur sporadisch und blieb lange Jahre auf einige wenige Hochschulen beschränkt (vor allem Nürnberg-Erlangen, Eichstätt, St. Gallen, Konstanz).
