Summary: „…that’s not the way we are!“ Experience of psychological practice in schools

Starting from an example of psychodramatic work in the scope of psychological practice within a school class, the author will present ways of creating subjects for lessons by means of psychodrama and sociodrama. In order to clarify the problems being reported by teachers and psychodrama directors wanting to embody psychodrama in schools, the contradictions of the teacher’s role, its chances and its limitations will be described first which is followed by an outline of the discrepancies of a rather therapeutic identity of psychodrama directors and the teachers’ role in an institution like school. The article will pleed for more psychodrama in school routine and a change of schools.

Zusammenfassung:

Ausgehend von einem Beispiel, in dem im Rahmen schulpsychologischer Praxis in einer Schulklasse psychodramatisch gearbeitet wurde, werden Möglichkeiten erläutert, Unterrichtsthemen psychodramatisch und mit Soziodrama zu gestatten. Zur Klarung der Schwierigkeiten, die Lehrerinnen und ausgebildete PsychodramaleiterInnen schildern, wenn sie Psychodrama in der Schule verankern wollen, werden zunächst die Antinomien der Lehrerinnenrolle und die darin liegenden Möglichkeiten und Grenzen, danach die Diskrepanzen zwischen der eher therapeutischen Identität der PsychodramaleiterIn und der LehrerInenrolle in der Institution Schule aufgezeigt Der Artikel ist ein Plädoyer für mehr Psychodrama in den schulischen Alltag und Veränderung von Schule.
