Zusammenfassung
Alle wirtschaftlichen Prozesse sind sozial konstruierte Prozesse oder institutionelle Fakten (vgl. auch Searle in diesem Band). Sie stützen sich auf Sets von – räumlich und zeitlich bestimmten und daher variablen – sozialen Normen, die maßgeblich das wirtschaftliche Verhalten bestimmen und mit Sanktionen zur Sicherung normenkonformen Handelns bewehrt sind. Staatliche Institutionen, aber auch Unternehmen, Gewerkschaften, Unternehmerverbände etc. formen die ökonomische Welt und spiegeln ihre Historizität. Nach dieser Auffassung von Wirtschaft sind wirtschaftliche Aktivitäten nicht autonom und vom Rest der Gesellschaft unabhängig, sondern integraler Bestandteil des sozialen Systems. Ihre historischen Formen sind variabel und unlösbar mit dem Stand von Recht und Gesetzgebung, den Formen staatlichen Handelns, den Wertesystemen etc. verbunden. Dieser Beitrag ist dem betrieblichen Rechnungswesen gewidmet, einem der zahllosen Artefakte, die das Wirtschaften beeinflussen und ihm eine ebenso bestimmte wie historisch wandelbare Form verleihen.
