Zusammenfassung

Dieses Kapitel fasst die Forschung zur Rolle von Motivation (d.h. von Bedürfnissen und Absichten) beim Entstehen und Vermeiden von sozialer Diskriminierung zusammen. Zunächst wird anhand eines Beispiels illustriert, wie Handlungen, die aus der Perspektive des Akteurs rational, berechtigt und angemessen erscheinen, von Betroffenen als soziale Diskriminierung wahrgenommen werden können.
