Von gendered organizations zu transnationalen Patriarchien – Theorien und Fragmente

Erkenntnis und Methode

In diesem Beitrag werde ich mich mehr oder weniger ausführlich der Frage “Gender und Organisation(en)” widmen. Begriffe wie „Vergeschlechtlichung von Organisationen“ und „gendered organization“ sind mittlerweile anerkannte Fachtermini. “Gender” und “Organisation” sind jedoch problematisch geworden. Neben der zunehmenden Legitimierung des Forschungsgebietes „Gender und Organisationen“ hat das Gender-Konzept an Komplexität zugenommen, es wird stärker angezweifelt und hat an Schärfe verloren. Gleichzeitig hat auch der Begriff der “Organisation” an Stabilität eingebüßt. Aufgrund dieser zweifach wirksamen Problematik ist die gendered organization zum Gegenstand der Dekonstruktion, vielleicht auch der “Subversion” geworden.

Der englische Neologismus transpatriarchy/transpatriarchies bzw. transnational patriarchy/patriarchies wird hier und im Weiteren als transnationale Patriarchie/n oder Transpartriarchie/n übersetzt. Diese Übersetzung wurde auf Wunsch des Verfassers gewählt, um zu verdeutlichen, dass es vor allem um einen politisch-wissenschaftlichen Ansatz geht, weniger um eine neue Form von Patriarchat – obwohl auch eine solche Interpretation einige Plausibilität hat. Zu vermerken ist im Anschluss an diese Erläuterung aber auch, dass zwischen verwendeten Konzepten und Ansätzen auf der einen Seite und substanziellem geschichtlichem Wandel auf der anderen Seite Verbindungen bestehen, die ebenfalls von Interesse sind.
