Zum Verständnis von Abhängigkeiten aus psychodramatischer Sicht

Zusammenfassung

Nach einer Definition von Sucht wird in diesem Artikel dargestellt, was PsychodramatikerInnen zum Verständnis von Sucht sagen. Ausgehend von Morenos drei anthropologischen Grundannahmen menschlicher Entwicklung wird mittels dreier Hypothesen aufgezeigt, wie sich Morenos allgemeines Krankheitsverständnis auf Sucht übertragen lässt. Anhand von Fallbeispielen wird das subjektive Krankheitsverständnis Süchtiger beschrieben. Mit diesem heuristisch gewonnenen Verständnis von Sucht wird – auf der Grundlage von Krügers Konzept der Identitätsspaltung und Identitätskonfusion – dargelegt, dass es bei Sucht um den Verlust der Selbststeuerung und damit um eine Blockade kreativen Handelns und eine eigenständige Beziehungsproblematik geht. Damit wird ein neues, umfassendes, psychodramatisches Suchtverständnis begründet.

Abstract

After defining addiction this article describes what psychodramatists have to say on the understanding of addiction. Starting from Moreno’s three anthropological basic assumptions of human development it is shown how Moreno’s understanding of illness can be applied to addiction. Case studies are used to describe how addicts themselves understand addiction. Using this heuristically gained understanding of addiction it is shown—using Krüger’s concept of dissociation of identity and identity confusion—that addiction is essentially about the loss of personal control and thus about a blockade of creative action and an independent handling of relationships. This leads to a new and comprehensive understanding of addiction from a psychodramatic point of view.
