Zusammenfassung

Mit der Richtlinie über die Einrichtung Europäischer Betriebsräte (EBR) vom 22. September 1994 wurde auf EU-Ebene eine neue Institution des kollektiven Arbeitsrechts geschaffen. Die EBR-Richtlinie gilt in allen 27 EU-Mitgliedstaaten und wurde ferner von den Staaten des Europäischen Wirtschaftsraums (EWR) Island, Liechtenstein und Norwegen sowie von der Schweiz übernommen.
