Zusammenfassung
Vorliegender Aufsatz stellt zunächst einen biographischen Überblick über Sheila Jasanoffs Wirken als eine der Pionierinnen in den „Science & Technology Studies“ (STS) dar. Unter besonderer Berücksichtigung ihrer Monographie „Designs on Nature“ werden die zentralen theoretischen Bezüge, Methoden, Thesen, Ergebnisse und Anwendungsfelder dargestellt. Die Weiterentwicklung ihrer Konzepte co-production und civic epistemologies mündet schließlich in ihr komparatives Projekt der sociotechnical imagineries, das diesen Artikel abrundet.
