Zusammenfassung
Im Folgenden werden zunächst wesentliche Formen ökonomischer Integration außerhalb der EU vorgestellt. Die Europäische Integration geht über all diese Formen hinaus, beinhaltet aber zugleich in der Regel sämtliche dieser Indikatoren. Die in Aussicht gestellte wohlfahrtsökonomische Perspektive dieser theoretischen Konzeptionen gilt als zentrales Agens, um überhaupt einen ökonomischen Integrationsraum in Form der EWG/EU zu initiieren.
