Zusammenfassung

Koloniale Diskurse und imperiale Praxen haben auch in Ländern, die nie direkt kolonisiert wurden, tiefe Spuren hinterlassen. Obschon immer noch behauptet wird, postkoloniale Theorie hätte im deutschen Kontext eine eher geringe Bedeutung, da Deutschland nie eine große Kolonialmacht gewesen sei, hat die fast unmerkliche Rezeption postkolonialer Theorie im deutschsprachigen Raum zu zahlreichen produktiven Arbeiten und Debatten geführt. Auch in der Sozialen Arbeit werden – insbesondere, nachdem immer mehr Menschen aus außereuropäischen Ländern aufgrund von Klimakatastrophen, Hungersnöten, (Bürger-)Kriegen etc.
