Zussamenfassung
Die ersten Spuren zum letzten gemeinsamen Werk von Hofmannsthal und Strauss finden sich im Plan zu einer dreiaktigen Komödie im Oktober 1909. Daraus geht zunächst im Sinne der Allotropie die 1910 veröffentlichte Erzählung Lucidor hervor.
