Der Terminus ›fiktiver Gegenstand‹ umfasst sowohl fiktive Individuen als auch fiktive Objekte. Er bezeichnet – in erster Näherung – Personen und Objekte, die zuerst in fiktionalen Texten eingeführt wurden. Das Prädikat ›fiktiv‹ lässt sich dabei als annähernd synonym mit ›erfunden‹ oder ›ausgedacht‹ verstehen.
