Zusammenfassung
Unsere Emotionen sind ein Fenster in unsere ferne Vergangenheit. Zivilisatorische Errungenschaften haben unsere evolutionären Erbschaften nicht durch kulturelle Inhalte abgelöst. Mit diesem evolutionären Erbe, das unser Verhalten und Erleben mitbestimmt, beschäftigt sich die Evolutionäre Psychologie (vgl. Buss 2004), welche die natürliche Gestaltung der menschlichen Psyche durch Anwendung von Kenntnissen aus Evolutionsbiologie, Kognitionswissenschaften und Anthropologie erkundet.
