Zusammenfassung
Adolph Menzel reiste gerne. Mehrere seiner Touren führten ih n auch auf Weltausstellungen – so 1855 und 1867 nach Paris und 1873 nach Wien. Das hinterließ Spuren in seinem Werk. Zu ihnen gehört die Gouache Indianer-Café, die im Umfeld des Wienbesuches entstand.
