I frammenti a noi pervenuti della tragedia di Sofocle intitolata Τηρεύς — tutti di tradizione indiretta — sono soltanto 15 e ci consentono di ricostruire poco della sua struttura drammatica: l’essenziale è stato illustrato già da Welcker 1839 e poi indagato variamente da Cazzaniga 1950 ed altri.
