Fallstudie Ojima (Koto-Ku)

Zusammenfassung

In dem am 15. März 1945 gegründeten Stadtbezirk Koto lebten 1988 387’479 Einwohner auf einer Fläche von 36.89 km. Koto-ku ist flächenmässig der sechst-grösste Stadtbezirk von Tokyo, in welchem 1987 5’800 Ausländer, vorwiegend Koreaner, registriert waren. Nach dem offiziellen Erneuerungsrichtplan für den Stadtbezirk Koto sollen im Jahre 1990 ca. 400’000 Personen da ihren Wohnsitz haben. 9% der Wohnbevölkerung von Koto-ku leben in Einfamilienhäusern, 26% wohnen in grösseren Mietwohnungen ‹apato›, 28% in den firmeneigenen Wohnungen ‹danchi› und 8% in Sozialwohnungen (1).
