Zusammenfassung

Unter dem Eindruck der zunehmenden Zahl von UN-Blauhelmeinsätzen, der wachsenden Komplexität ihrer Aufgaben und der steigenden Leistungserwartungen der Öffentlichkeit, stellt sich die Frage nach den Auswirkungen derartiger Missionen auf die innere Struktur militärischer Organisationen. Da viele Aufgaben dieser neuen Missionen außerhalb des Bereichs konventioneller Streitkräfte liegen, erscheint es sinnvoll, zu ihrem theoretischen Verständnis nicht einen spezifisch militärsoziologischen, sondern einen relativ generelleren organisationssoziologischen Zugang zu wählen.
