Zusammenfassung
Prince Edward Island (PEI) ist mit 5.660 km2 die kleinste kanadische Provinz, auf sie entfallen nur 0,1% der kanadischen Gesamtfläche. Auf der kleinen Insel im Golf des St.-Lorenz-Stroms lassen sich keine geographischen Landschaftsformen unterscheiden. Auffällig für den Betrachter ist das rote Gestein, das die Farbe der Äcker beherrscht.
