Zusammenfassung
Ziel wissensorientierter Unternehmensführung ist es, aus Informationen Wissen zu generieren und dieses Wissen in nachhaltige Wettbewerbsvorteile umzusetzen, die als Geschäftserfolge messbar werden. Die Bayer AG hat den Bezug von Wissen und Geschäft wie folgt formuliert:
„Forschung ist die Umwandlung von Geld in Wissen. Innovation ist die Umwandlung von Wissen in Geld.“
