Zur Produktion sind eine Vielzahl von Input- bzw. Produktionsfaktoren notwendig, die sich nach unterschiedlichen Kriterien klassifizieren lassen. Im weiteren Verlauf wird der Gliederung von Erich Gutenberg gefolgt (vgl. Abbildung 7.1), wobei die Zusatzfaktoren in seiner Systematik noch nicht explizit berücksichtigt wurden.
