Zusammenfassung
Neben der Optimierung und der Diagnose & Prognose stellt der Bereich des Messen, Steuern, Regeln1 das dritte wichtige operative Anwendungsgebiet Neuronaler Netze in Fertigungssystemen dar. Die Grenzen zu den beiden anderen Bereichen sind dabei fließend; die Optimierung findet sich wie die Diagnose und evtl. die Prognose in der Phase des Steuerns wieder. Ein eigenes Kapitel ist trotzdem gerechtfertigt, da der MSR-Prozeß durch die Rückkopplung erst seine adaptiven Eigenschaften erhält. Diese Rückkopplung umfaßt den gesamten Prozeß. Es ist demnach von Vorteil, auch den gesamten Prozeß zu betrachten. Dabei wird klar, daß Optimierung und Diagnose nur Teilaspekte der Steuerung sind.
