Zusammenfassung
Der Deutsch-Französische Vertrag ist in mehrfacher Hinsicht ein außergewöhnliches Dokument. Von den üblichen internationalen Abkommen unterscheidet er sich sowohl durch ein hohes Maß an Realismus wie auch durch eine historische Vision, die manche auch heute noch für utopisch halten.
