Zusammenfassung
Dieses Papier gibt eine Übersicht über die Arten und Merkmale von computerunterstützter Gruppenarbeit (CSCW), sowie deren Koordination. Besonders für den Entwurf und die Benutzung von CSCW Systemen ist es erforderlich, daß sowohl Entwickler als auch Endbenutzer ein einheitliches Verständnis über die Art und Funktionsweise der Koordination erhalten. Koordination wird betrachtet als die Kontrolle von wechselseitigen Abhängigkeiten zwischen den Aktionen, die von Gruppenteilnehmern ausgeführt werden, um ein gemeinsames Ziel zu erreichen. Modelle und Prinzipien zur Beschreibung von Gruppenkoordination werden erläutert und abschließend, um deren wesentlichen Merkmale miteinander zu vergleichen, in den Modellrahmen von offener, verteilter Verarbeitung (ODP) eingeordnet
