Abstract
A very thorough investigation of passive shock boundary layer interaction control has been conducted within the EUROSHOCK program consisting of:
-
basic experiments and physical modeling of shock control,
-
the extension of numerical codes to account for control and a first assessment of control and
-
the performance of airfoil experiments to obtain data for the validation of computer codes and - in conjunction with CFD - for the determination of the merits of passive shock control.
