Abstract

The purpose of this workshop is to determine the potential impact of parallel architectures on the usability of laminar Navier-Stokes solvers for compressible viscous flows. Each participant will carry out calculations in at least one out of the two mandatory “academic” test cases. The first test-case (TCI) is a two-dimensional flow problem while the second (TC2) is a three-dimensional one. Note that five test cases where originally defined; three of them are optional and as such they are not included in the data base. Therefore eventual contributions to these three test cases (TC3 to TC5) will not be included in the synthesis phase even though they will be part of the individual participant presentations during the workshop.
