Viele Organisationen setzen Communication Center ein, um eine effiziente und effektive Interaktion mit ihren Kunden zu erreichen. 1999 gab es in Europa bereits 12.750 Communication Center. Es wird erwartet, daß sich diese Zahl bis 2006 auf 28.000 erhöht (Frost und Sullivan 2000).
