Zusammenfassung

Maschinen sollen unser Leben möglichst vereinfachen. Zu diesem Zweck müssen wir sie anleiten und/oder dirigieren. Die Kommunikation des Menschen ist ausgesprochen komplex und mehrdimensional. Da das Gerät aber nur strukturierte Botschaften empfangen und entschlüsseln kann, braucht es eine Benutzeroberfläche, die die verschiedenen Sprachen möglichst simultan übersetzt. Die Schnittstelle zur Kommunikation der Beiden bildet das User Interface. Die Bedieneroberfläche bietet dem Nutzer die Möglichkeit der Maschine Befehle zu erteilen, die diese dann den Wünschen entsprechend ausführt. Die Herausforderung besteht also darin, die komplizierten Vorgänge im Inneren der Maschine möglichst der menschlichen Kommunikation anzupassen.
