Zusammenfassung
Seit dem Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde die regulative Wirtschaftspolitik, d.h. die staatliche Ordnung und Lenkung der Wirtschaft mit den Mitteln von Geboten, Verboten und Normierungen, ebenso wie die Staatstätigkeit insgesamt, quantitativ und qualitativ stark ausgeweitet. Es wurden immer mehr Bereiche und Aktivitäten der staatlichen Regulation unterworfen, die Zielsysteme regulativer Wirtschaftspolitik wurden komplexer und die regulativen Maßnahmen detaillierter, dichter und komplizierter. Das zeigen insbesondere die umfangreichen Untersuchungen des Economic Council of Canada (1976,1979,1981) sowie eine größere Zahl weiterer Untersuchungen (u.a. Committee of Governmental Affairs, 1978; Hartle, 1979; Kahn, 1971; Owen & Braeutigam, 1978; Voigt, 1980; Wilson, 1974).
