Zusammenfassung

Der Versuch, in die oben skizzierte Entwicklung des Entfremdungsgedankens auch Karl Marx einzuordnen, führt mitten hinein in die Auseinandersetzungen der Marx-Interpretation und in die Frage, „welcher Marxismus denn eigentlich gemeint sei“1 Seit Siegfried Landshut zu Beginn der Dreißiger Jahre die Marxschen Frühschriften veröffentlichte, geht der Streit darüber hin und her, ob es im Werk von Karl Marx einen Bruch gegeben habe, ob also der früheren, durch den Begriff der Entfremdung bestimmten Phase seines Denkens der Vorrang gebühre, oder ob diese frühe Philosophie wegen ihres eher marginalen Charakters für den Marxismus ohne Bedeutung sei.
