Zusammenfassung
Elemente von Anpassungssystemen können Individuen, Gruppen oder, unter besonderen Voraussetzungen, auch Organisationen sein. Die Elemente sind bei einer derart differenzierenden Betrachtung selbst wiederum als Systeme aufzufassen, und zwar entweder als personale oder als soziale Systeme. Soziale Systeme bestehen aus mehreren Individuen. Sie können im großen und ganzen den strukturellen Systemen gleichgesetzt werden, die den funktionalen Systemen gegenübergestellt wurden. Um die Unterschiede zu den personalen Systemen herauszuarbeiten, erscheint es jedoch zweckmäßiger, an dieser Stelle der Arbeit nicht von strukturellen, sondern von sozialen Systemen zu sprechen1).
