Mit EDIT wird der DOS-Editor aufgerufen, der ab der Version 5.0 den etwas »verstaubten« EDLIN ersetzt. Wenn Sie bereits mit QBASIC vertraut sind, brauchen Sie dieses Kapitel nicht zu lesen, da die Oberfläche zum QBASIC-Interpreter gehört und somit identisch mit der des QuickBASIC-Compilers ist. Der Editor läßt sich mit der Maus oder über Hot-Keys bedienen.
