Abstract
An estimate of the Kobabyashi and Caratheodory distances K G (A, B) and C G (A, B) in a strongly pseudoconvex domain G ⊂ C n,A, B ∈ G, is obtained. As a result it is proved that, if A ∈ G is fixed,there exists a constant k > 0 (which may depend on A) such that K G (A, B) −C G (A, B) < k,for all z ∈G
